We are a general surveying practice providing commercial property agency services throughout Hull, East Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire and led by our very own Jonathan Barker who has a wealth of commercial surveying experience in the local area.
Jonathan graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2012 with a degree in Real Estate and began his career within the Leeds area working on a client-side role managing various commercial assets throughout the north east of England and Scotland.
From there, Jonathan took a position at DTZ in Leeds now commonly known as Cushman & Wakefield where he continued managing commercial assets across the Yorkshire region for larger firms including pension trusts.
In 2015, Jonathan decided to relocate back to the area he grew up in near Hull to join one of the biggest firms in the East Yorkshire region Garness Jones and specialised in agency work including investment and development instructions throughout the region and in North East Lincolnshire.
Prior to establishing Barker Property Consultants, Jonathan gained experience working at NPS Group based in Hull who offered multiple property services to a number of private clients and local authorities including Hull City Council.
In 2021, Jonathan saw the opportunity to establish and bring a new firm of commercial property surveyors to the local area and to combine traditional methods with modern technological approaches to enhance the service level for clients and deliver results.
Since our conception, Barker Property Consultants uses this ethos to achieve results for our clients of all sizes and backgrounds who are either based locally or beyond and either have assets in our region or are seeking the opportunity to acquire interests.
